INDIA’S 9/11

INDIA’S 9/11
Terror struck our nation once again on 26/11/2008 with such a big bang which made the whole nation to standstill, though the spirits of the nation are so high it recovered very shortly. This time everybody from every corner supported to end terror once for all by eliminating the base of such activities. We as KP community are the most effected from this type of terror which created havoc in our lives and forced us to live in conditions which were and still are not suitable for us to live in. From those days many of our soldiers and other citizens of the nation sacrificed and laid their lives for safeguard of the nation and for our good days ahead. Let us join to pay a salute to all martyrs who gave their lives for safe guard of Mother India and the people therein.
Enough is enough, we all said this when our country was being inflicted by bullets and bombs at Mumbai on 26/11. The patriotism in our every heart united us to say enough is enough, let all of us pledge to keep a vigil at our surroundings so that we can keep an eye at the evil minds of terror . It is rightly said that terror has no religion and none of the religions allow any body to kill the innocents.
MY SALUTE TO ALL THOSE BRAVE, WHO ALLOW US TO LIVE SAFE AND SOUND AND WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR THE NATION.

ATTITUDE MATTERS

Regionalism and partiality are the main social insects which have bitten me and my community since we were forced by the circumustances to live in such a setup which is altogether different to that of ours. What actually our living setup is? It is to live in such a social setup where humanity, respect to elders exist. What good you are supposed to do as an individual apart from being your duty towards family, society and nation is given due regard and appreciation too. My opinion to above reference that the time I gave to my job and to the people around have never given a job satisfaction, may be my approach might not be good enough, but it has never been so bad believe me, the service provided to people has always been a devotion to me. The services given to the society wherein I live has never encouraged me to do better and better, even rated me below the mark. This is what I disagree because the “PACE” of the life among the communities differ. My pace of life is different from what is at the place where my devotion is now about 20 years. Devotion is something which fetches you laurels, but sometimes when it shatters you and gives bad results it hurts very much. The place which I think to be my second birth place is like a step mother who loves, accepts only its own. From now there will be my only birthplace which has brought me to the existence and which has given me enough encouragement to work for the humanity without anything good in return. One of my well wishers had suggested me to remain what I am actually and never try to what you are not.
My community shall agree to me that we all have been victims of regionalism and partiality at one moment or the other. I have put in all the efforts and skill for betterment of the society and surroundings as a basic native and have changed myself a lot accordingly but all in vain, some people keep bad notion because we dare them to reply and explain the things, sometimes those coward persons are at higher positions than ours.
I believe in positivity and keep a positive thinking; the person who digs for others fells himself in it. But it is necessary for everybody to keep the identity different and must remain what originally the person is.

WISH MY COUNTRYMEN HAPPY AND TERROR FREE DAYS AHEAD.

We all have seen the trauma and the pain infilicted to the countrymen during last few days at Mumbai. I get hurt when ever the terror strikes because it first struck us some 20 years back. I know the pain of terror strike and the pain is so severe which is unbearable. I pray God to keep my countrymen away from such pains and traumas. Also we must salute the HEROES of the country who lay their lives for our safety.

Positive Attitude brings happiness in life

POSITIVE attitude can bring happiness in life of an Individual. Attitude can be POSITIVE or NEGATIVE,we all must overcome the negative attitude towards any thing, which happenes in our life and must keep POSITIVE attitude to make life sucessfull.
Problem is distance between expectation and reality.
Either expect less and accept the reality or
expect a lot and turn into reality.

If we go through the above lines perhaps the problem lies every where and the solution lies in its removal. My prespective in this regard is that the when we sort out a problem ,the relief from that is a happy LIFE. So it is evident that when we have a positve attitude we can make our life happy and prosperous. It is said that 85% positive attitude and 15% skill is equql to 100% sucess.
Mathimatically we can write the equation as,
85% positive attitude+15% skill= 100% sucess
I wish you all best of luck.
thanks

Anger and Love have no limits; choose the later to have a beautiful & lovely life....

Few days ago I got an email from my friend who changed my way of thinking and I felt that he sent this mail especially for me, it read as
"While a man was washing his new car, his 4 yr old son picked stone & scratched lines on the side of the car. In anger, the man took the child's hand & hit it many times, not realizing he was using a wrench. At the hospital, the child lost all his fingers due to multiple fractures. When the child saw his father.... with painful eyes he asked 'Dad when will my fingers grow back?' Man was so hurt and speechless. He went back to car and kicked it a lot of times.Devastated by his own actions..... . Sitting in front of that car he looked at the scratches, child had written 'LOVE YOU DAD'.
Anger and Love have no limits; choose the later to have a beautiful & lovely life.... Things are to be used and people are to be loved,But the problem in today's world is that People are used and things are loved."
The last lines said about anger and love which are the most important happenings in our day to day life and the impact is so big that it can effect our lives. We all must think seriously that when we go out to earn for family at various places and levels, we must keep an eye on two things one that does any- body use us instead of loving. If you don’t keep your eyes open you may be being used by somebody for the benefit of his/her own, which can result in infliction of big wounds.
In broader view I believe that people should never be used, but if somebody does it in return he also can be used by somebody else.
The solution to the problem lies in above thought as anger and love have no limits, chose later to have a beautiful and lovely life….

Expect more from yourself than from others

Namaskar and Happy Diwali to all members at Ambala Cantt and around, the happiness and prosperity prevails by the grace of God among we all KP community members. These days we see after hard work in our day today life after biggest ever turmoil in our lives as KASHMIRI PANDITS after leaving our homes and hearths behind. Hard work and persistence was the only way to overcome the difficulties in the life and for we all KASMIRI PANDITS this was the only instrument with us to review our lives at different places with different environments and different languages. Let us go through the saying,
Expect more from yourself than from others
Because expectation from others hurt a lot while expectation from you inspires a lot.
The answer lies in it. We all after starting our new lives at different places expected more from ourselves and put in our best efforts in reorganizing the broken life and the expectation from within inspired a lot.
The resettlement and rehabilitation of KASHMIRI PANDIT community can be seen as a theory behind settlements after ups and downs, devastation in life and more over unexpected happenings in life. The difficult days are now over and I pray to almighty to give courage to every member of the KP community and every human being in world to think positively and progress with leaps and bounds by believing in you and with full expectation from within.
Thanks very much .

Jammu & Kashmir, a paradise on earth

Love for your birth place is such a passion which forces you to visit again and again even you are hundreds of kilometers away from that place. This year the birth place of all Kashmiri pundits till 1990 called me, my emotions once again in June 2008 after short span of 2 years .That time through the columns of various magazines, I wrote about KASHMIR OF 2006 and today I am lucky once again to write about KASHMIR OF 2008.
Today’s KASHMIR is a bit more happy, more relaxed, more matured and doing all the day to day working as usual but without we all KAHMIRI PUNDITS. This time we went through southern side of KASHMIR like VERINAG, NAGBAL, MATTAN .On the way many PUNDIT villages came on passing the route to ANANTNAG, which gave a deserted look as all the PUNDIT houses stand still keeping there doors and windows open probably for all its inhabitants. Every where in KAHMIR all the PUNDIT houses are showing the same love and affections to their family members, but few of them are now loosing the hope of comeback of their respective inhabitants and also few houses are ageing now and are very desperate to see their loved ones before they fell down once for all. This I found when I reached my home at BOMAI SOPORE along with my kids on 10th of JUNE 2008 for the first time after about 19 years, my home asked me what was my fault the you all left me all alone un attended at this place, it also narrated all the pains inflicted by un identified during all these years. The surroundings wore a deserted look with heaps of unwanted greenery and doors and windows open without window panes and doors as well. It seemed that it will be no more in next year as 50 % of it stands damaged, before I said goodbye to my revered home the arms of that grand building which was my home some years before hugged me, my children and my wife too. I too paid a respect to it bowing my head for giving me shelter for about 25 years.
I need to say that same feeling I found at all places where the PUNDIT locality look in the same way, I need to add that what we all lost can never be achieved back because the clock has completed almost 20 years now leaving us far behind and every good thing there is not for we all, who cares for whom.
I request every one to remember their place of residence in KASHMIR before leaving homes and hearths behind, the place and the home will be calling you even for once.
