Very recently on 23rd JUNE 2011, i once again happened to be at my birth place BOMAI, SOPORE ,KASHMIR. This place has so much force which forces to be with this place only,that is why when i get time to relax i go to my native village where i have spent about 25 years of my prime age. It was very much shocking to see this dream home coming to end as only a part remains standing. it seems that some people and vested interests are not interested to see it standing tall.

I WISH THAT WE MAY REMAIN CONNECTED TO OUR BIRTH PLACE TILL DEATH.

It was a true inspiration for me today on 22nd Oct 2010 when I attended the “YOG SHIVER” of Baba Ram Dev Ji at Gandhi grounds AMBALA CANTT. We were eager to see and listen Baba and reached the spot 15 minutes earlier to the venue time at 5AM. He was full of energy, with a passion to do something for this country, the passion to involve every citizen of this country, was in full Haryanvi mood and happy, relaxed and ready to deliver the things. Definitely the thinking he is possessing will be thinking of the country in near future. He is not now only a Yoga Guru but a path of the country on which our system will get corrected. But let me say that only he can not change the things lonely unless we all adopt the thinking he posses for the country and its countrymen.

God bless him and help him in achieving the goal of neat, clean, corruption free and healthy INDIA and we all too.

We all at AMBALA CANTT and AMBALA CITY have been washed by the floods of water, the intensity of the floods was so high that it was difficult to even walk against the water flow on roads, even cyclists were forced to lift the cycles on the shoulder to reach their homes. Here are some photographs arround my residence in AMBALA CANTT.

Dear readers, I have been relieved from NANGAL branch of LIC to AMBALA CANTT on 28th of June 2010. Below are the lines which i had written few days back and where part of my relieving speach , just read and enjoy.


mushkilun ki hui intiha aake is naye mukam par
socha na tha ik din hogi zindagi mushkile anjam par...

azad hona hai har bashar ko kab tak rok payein ge
akhir aya din azadi ka aau manaye ik jam par.

mila sab kuch yahan izat abroo aur pyar beshumar
magar mila n koi rahbar jo jod sake is kam par....

thi koshish sab ki rahoon jaise bhi main yahan
shayid samaj na saka wo mera dost, aya tha jis ke nam par.

kar leta hoon vada aap se rahoon ga nahin sirf "MAIIN" par
kuch nahin rakha hai "MAIIN" kahne maiin, do koi naya paygam SIR.

“YAHAN KA RAJA MAIN HOON AUR YAHAN MERI CHALE GI”

Difficult time in life when comes, it comes with so many difficulties from all the corners. Let us go through a lane which one usually think to be a lane to happiness, lane to facilities for life and family, a way to perform better and better and be spotted while doing good job. But a bitter experience of it can make a person disheartened and the correct decision out of it is to make your wrong decisions right at an earliest. The quotation says, to get success one has to use “ saam, dham, dand, baed” but to what extent, to the extent nobody gets harmed physically, emotionally. But the reality is that all the four basic things are being used to frown, to kill emotionally to get physical harm without using any outer force.
We have people with two different attitudes, one speak very sweetly, talk very polite at the moments and pose being the only capable person among the group and 2nd have their personal as well as professional interests. These people try to achieve their requirements of life by using everybody to the extent of physical, emotional levels. As on date the same boat we all are sailing the elders at almost every levels think to squeeze at every corner and do not have any interest in what way one can provide development and care to the family at a distance visa vis they keep on providing every thing to their dependents. Being now at any senior level all those have no interest about others living arrangements though provided at almost every place but is being misused. The most killing instinct being to promote regionalism, to help regional people whether they deserve or not and make indifference with those who need the pat on shoulder.
Any way there is a dawn and the new Sun arises and new day of life starts, nobody can stop ones destiny and nobody can make anybody behind the bars, the persons of capable mind and confidence will always proceed to their destiny despite even and odds in life. I pray to God to give all selfish people a good mind and direction so that they don’t call themselves “YAHAN KA RAJA MAIN HOON AUR YAHAN MERI CHALE GI”.

REMEMBRING OUR DEAR ONES

It is always a joyous moment when you meet a person whom you admire, whom you like , whom you treat like an inspiration after so many years. Last Night I met one of my senior colleagues via phone who works in our organisation known as LIC OF INDIA. The person is with same attitude, with all things on tip of tongue despite leaving us for his next assignment in the organisation so many years back. He is the person selected among thousands for management, and future building of the organisation. Our best wishes for the Officer and for his family too.
He is Rath A B once Assistant branch manager Sales at AMBALA CANTT Karnal DIVISION, now Senior Branch Manager at Dispur and about to be a PGEP-3.

SEA OF KNOWLEDGE

Our universe consists of more water and less earth, beside that earth nourishes its habitants all over universe of its own, though with the help of water. The people who live away from coastal areas are less prone to sea and its benefits. Very recently I had been to a coastal area known as Vishakhapatnam; the first view of the vast sea grabbed my mind and soul. What I had read about it, what I had seen in magazines and on TV, is only a small percentage of what it is on the beach. After spending an hour on the beach one can understand that as earth ends and sea of water starts for many thousand miles, the movement of water in shape of waves towards beach comes like that there is an organized sector working behind those waves. After seeing above place once , one can only learn the meaning of sea such as; if we need to make our knowledge, thoughts, capability as big as sea, first we need to know what sea is.
WHAT I WANT TO SHARE IS THAT, THE QUANTAM OF KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE WE HAVE SHOULD BE LIKE SEA. WE NEED TO KNOW FIRST ABOUT HOW MUCH BIG SEA IS, WHAT CAPACITY SEA HAS, WHAT PROPERTIES SEA HAS LIKE IT ACCEPTS ONLY NEAT AND CLEAN THINGS AND PUSHES BACK BAD AND FOUL THINGS TOWARDS THE SHORE. WE ALL SHOULD SHARE THE KNOWLEDGE WITH EVERY BODY AND LEND A HELPING HAND TO EVERY ONE IN NEED AND MAKE OUR KNOWLEDGE LIKE THE SEA.

HEALTH IS WEALTH

Health the important part of our life has always remained the pending job for every one and we try to excel in our job more and more daily, and put in more energy to get best out of us. We forget to think about our health without which we cannot even move from our bed room to perform our duties.
Let us make our mind to make job as well as our health equally good and invest a small quantum of time in that dirrection. The morning walk of 3 KMS is a must for everybody to keep the body in full go, let us start it with a half kilometer and gradually increase the distance till it increases reasonably. It is said that there was one thing common in worlds most successful men , that they used to get up very early in the morning and their day started at 5 in the morning. This is the most important step towards making a good health. Secondly excersize control on what we eat, and we should see whether that is good for our health or not. If we eat a proper and healthy diet, our body remains full of energy and ready to work all the time. Keep your mouth covered when you go to a public place to save yourself from getting infected. Wash your hands when you come to home from a public place which is prone to carry the infections. By doing this we can make our life healthy along with our family members and the society too.

SELF INTROSPECTION

Let us introspect this time about our own self and the most effective enhancer and killer in us is our own temperament. May it be nice or lose. We earn a lot in the life through nice temperament and also the patience of an individual is based on it only. At the same time we cannot ignore lose temperament as it destroys us as an individual and more over we must let everyone know about bad effects of the lose temperament especially to our kids and our children , I remember few lines about the temperament read somewhere as,
There once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost the temper, he must hammer a nail into the fence. The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the no of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down. He discovered that it is easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence…. Finally the day came when the boy did not lose his temper at all. He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold the temper. The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone.
The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. He said, “You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. It won’t matter how many times you say I am sorry, the wound is still there”. A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one.
Let us think and see around about it.

OPPORTUNITY IN LIFE

Opportunity in life comes very rarely and we all must know that whenever it comes to us we all should use that opportunity. Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve one’s condition or we can say that an obstacle in life gives us an opportunity to improve.
I remember about a King regarding an obstacle in our path, in ancient times, a king had a boulder placed on a roadway, then he himself watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the King’s wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it. Many loudly blamed the King for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything about getting the big stone out of the way. Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. On approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded. As the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the king indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway. The peasant learned what many others never understand.

After a long gap, I am here once again with you to share my love, respect, and regards with my readers for whom I have collected few marvelous and self saying pictures of my original house at my birth place at BOMAI SOPORE KASHMIR. I love this grand building because it gave me shelter for about 25 years before leaving it behind in 1989 after turmoil in Kashmir. In coming years the building will not be there as maximum parts of it has now grazed to ground due to so many reasons, but the love respect to it will remain in our hearts and I bow always towards that building which housed me and my family for so many years.
The photographs have been pictured by one of my brothers Rohit Das, who was recently in Kashmir and visited that place.
My aim to post these pictures is that everybody must know about latest what we have left behind so many years before.

INDIAN DEMOCRACY

Elections are one of the great examples of democracy all over the world, every human being has inherent right to vote , to elect the government of own choice. We have seen that the right to vote has changed the opinions of many great politicians and they could not withstand on what they had thought before results. The change is the ultimate thing in the life and we all have to accept that change always brings harmony in life.
As for as INDIA is concerned elections has many other reasons to celebrate, most of the rural people get engaged in the process only for the minor benefits and are being used for pity jobs at the behest of politicians. Most of the people live in rural INDIA and people are true at heart, but few and not all the politicians get the benefit of those true people and after winning they reach to the places where they make their pockets full of money and power. None of the politicians had ever thought about the old age provisions for the society, wherein every senior citizen of the country should have the arrangements of settlement, healthcare and much more in case of distress beyond the age where they are not able to earn or work till end of life. If we have the senior citizens hale and hearty, they can nourish the youth of the country for better tomorrow.
Our country is now a nuclear power and has made a significant place among all the countries in the world, so let us think, unite to use the power of our vote and elect such a government and the respective candidates on merits only whatever the party may be. We all countrymen are responsible to make our country better, strong and powerful.

HAPPY HOLI TO ALL

HOLI, the festival of colours, festival of joy, festival of togetherness, festival of forgiveness, festival of enjoyment, festival of respect to elders, festival of “Halla -Gulla” of young children and also festival of kids enjoyment. Holi being the full package of festivals which contains everything from enjoyment, happiness, delicious meals to forgiveness. The great thing in this festival is that on this date the difference among people melts down and everybody hug each other and forgive all past differences. These festivals are need of the hour which can help society to grow and to spread love and happiness among all. On this day nobody is black or fair but everybody is multicolored which confirms that the society grows, moves ahead with the growth of love, respect and regard.

Once again I wish all my countrymen a HAPPY HOLI and everybody in the world.

GOLDEN DAYS OF SCHOOL & COLLEGE ERA

 

Good old days are at the tip of the tongue today because one of my old school and college friends wished me on the “SALAM” the celebration day of Maha Shivratri. 

Let us go to the memory lane some two decades before. Those days were truthful, full of happiness, with high regards for elders and mentors, without any 'CHAL –KAPAT' in mind and moreover the pocket empty may it be school or college. I cherish those moments especially my school and college friends like Jhon, Hassan, Tariq, Girdhari, Tej …. and few mentors like Shah Sahib from Seelu, our work experience teacher Majid Sahib  whom with we would make wooden articles like clock cover etc  and many more. To monitor my class as head boy, to be group commander of the class to salute then education minister at high school Bomai grounds, to remain in the eyes of other classmates especially in co education environment, to listen eagerly “rasnia rasnia tara ki tera bada manda lagda…..” probably the first Dogri song heard at that time beyond Kashmiri language, the punishments by Shah Sahib to me on pen of Hassan who lost the pen during class change, the chinars of the school grounds which used to give us cool breeze  after the games, the saint “SAID SAHIB” in front of school grounds, the way to Zinipora over the school and many more.

During these years away from the childhood place, nothing faded in these two decades, even got refreshed in mind from the day we departed from the place of birth. The situation, traditions, climate, language, relations, age, thoughts changed a lot even beyond imaginations but the thirst about those old golden days remained alive in the hearts and probably will end with the end of our lives.  We as a community also changed a lot, earned a lot, even got better chances to present ourselves at new places, got our children settled at better places, but what we lost is our motherland, the environment in which we got birth, in which we studied and over all we lost our mother tongue. As for as I am concerned I have always felt that physically I am at different place but my soul   ”ROOH” is still wandering somewhere within my roots which keeps me connected.

Through this blog I wish my all class and college friends a warming hallo and wish them all the best.

At the occasion of Maha Shiv Ratri 2009 i wish all my countrymen and every body in world, and espacially to my Kashmiri Pandit brothren a HAPPY MAHA SHIVRATRI ( HEARTH MUBARAK). This festival has an important role in our life as we all Kashmiri Pandits are supposed to be with the family to offer puja to Lord Shiva during the night. After performing WATUK puja ,every body in the family prays for better healh and better days ahead for all.
